A telegram to J. R. Robinson today announced the death of T. J. T. Ross, of Indianapolis, at the home of his son, Major Ross. The funeral will occur tomorrow at 1:30 o’clock at the home of another son, Robert Ross, of this city. Mr. Ross, until about five years ago, lived in Crawfordsville and was one of our oldest citizens, having kept the first furniture store in town. He lived to the ripe old age of seventy nine, respected by all who knew him. -s

Thomas Ross, the aged father of Bob and Aaron Ross, sustained injuries by falling in Indianapolis one day last week which may prove fatal. Mr. Ross is well known here by many of our old citizens. -k

TJT Ross, father of Robert and Aaron Ross of this county died at the home of another son in Indianapolis Wednesday at the age of 79 years. The remains were shipped to this city and the funeral conducted from the residence of Robert Ross on South Washington Street yesterday afternoon. Until a few years ago Mr. Ross lived in this city and was among Crawfordsville's first and best citizens. One by one the old pioneers pass away.
